Listing of Candidate’s Names on the Ballot - Candidates names shall be listed alphabetically according to the initials of their last names, beginning with the first initial. No titles can be printed for a candidate.
*Candidates for municipal offices and county school board offices only have to be listed in alphabetical order. Both are required by law to run as “Non-Partisan” (no party affiliation).
How Offices are arranged on the Ballot - The order of the offices are required to be listed on the ballot as follows:
1. County Executive 2. County Commission 3. Assessor of Property 4. Trustee 5. General Sessions Judge 6. Juvenile Court Judge 7. Sheriff 8. Circuit Court Clerk 9. County Clerk 10. Register of Deeds 11. Road Superintendent |
